Wedding Speeches and Toasts

Wedding Speeches and Toasts

Speeches and toasts are a significant part of the wedding reception.. They are a chance for good-natures play family and friends and friends and can be a real highlight of the day.

As much as everyone like to listen to a good speech, not as many like giving them. But by simply being well prepared, anyone can give a successful and entertaining speech.

Speeches can be given in any order but most weddings have their speeches around mealtime, perhaps in between the main course and dessert.

This gives guests time to relax with a few drinks and enjoy each others company. The speeches can be given altogether of this are acceptable. Overall, speeches and introductions should take no longer than 60minutes.

Usually bride’s dad starts his speech, then bridesmaids, best man and the groom wrap up the speeches. They straight after that, they can cut their wedding cake followed by their first dance.

This is a great opportunity for photographers and guests to capture good photos for the bride and groom. Please don’t be shy to come to the front and capture those moment!

I always enjoy photographing cutting the cake and during the speeches, because their emotions shows a lot!
